WHEREAS, we being an incorporate body of persons of like faith, declare as our beliefs, the following:

There is one true God. He eternally exists in three persons, called the Holy Trinity and is comprised of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

2. Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and we have the promise of eternal life through His death and the

power of His resurrection.

3. The Holy Bible, with both Old and New Testaments (and as set forth in the traditions of the Protestant faith)

is the word of God and the revelation of His will to mankind. We accept it as our rule for our faith and our

conduct.

4. Each church is to assemble together for worship, fellowship, counsel and instruction in God’s word and

the work of the ministry.

5. Christian fellowship, evangelism, ministry and mutual edification through local churches are the ordained

will of God for His people.

6. Mankind was created good and upright, but by our own voluntary transgression, fell. Only by the shed

blood of Jesus Christ do we have the hope of salvation. Salvation is by faith through grace and

demonstrated in repentance leading to a relationship with Jesus Christ.

7. The sacraments of baptism and communion are essential to the Christian life and are to be regularly

celebrated.

8. The sacrament of marriage is a holy union between one man and one woman as declared in the

Scriptures.
